Our Approach

Positively Neutral does not advocate or promote individual mediators, arbitrators or experts. We are not compensated for providing listings on this site, or for publishing survey results.

Rather, we are engaged by mediators, arbitrators and experts to survey lawyers who previously utilized their services. We provide the feedback we receive to the mediators, arbitrators and experts for their review. Based on their review of the feedback, the mediators, arbitrators and experts direct us whether to publish or not to publish the results. That is their choice.

Here's how we attempt to ensure the credibility and integrity of the data we obtain and publish:

• We require mediators, arbitrators and experts to provide us with the names of all attorneys who used their services during the survey period, and Positively Neutral--not the mediators, arbitrators or experts--decide who to survey.



• Mediators, arbitrators and experts can choose to publish all survey results, or no survey results. We do not permit them to publish only positive results, while omitting negative results.



• We withhold from the mediators, arbitrators and experts the identity of the attorney who provides an evaluation, thereby promoting candor from the evaluating attorney.



• We charge for our services in conducting the surveys and providing the results to the mediators, arbitrators and experts. We receive no additional compensation from those who choose to publish the results, thereby eliminating financial incentive to favorably skew the lawyer feedback we receive.
