Positively Neutral surveyed a number of attorneys about the importance of various factors in their selection of an expert witness, mediator or arbitrator whose services they had not previously utilized. We learned that the most important factor for the attorneys' selection of an expert witness, arbitrator and mediators was feedback from other attorneys.
We also asked whether the opinions of attorneys who had prior experience with a specific expert, arbitrator and mediator were “very important”, “important”, “minimally important” or “not important at all.” 100% of the respondents stated that the opinions of other lawyers were either “very important” or “important.”
In fact, the percentage of attorneys who stated the opinions of other lawyers were “very important” was:
- 88% in the selection of an expert
- 65% in the selection of an arbitrator
- 94% in the selection of a mediator

We anticipate you will be eager to post the survey results on the Positively Neutral site, and to use them in your other marketing efforts.
We also recognize that some mediators, arbitrators and experts may be disappointed by the feedback they receive, and will be concerned that publication of the feedback may adversely impact your marketing efforts. Consequently, Positively Neutral permits you to instruct us whether or not to publish the survey results. We will not publish the results unless you give your permission. (Of course, to preserve the integrity of the Positively Neutral process, you must decide whether to publish all, or none, of the results.)

THE PN ENROLLMENT PROCESS IS EASY:
- You can complete the enrollment process at your leisure-online, either in one sitting, or a bit at a time.
- You provide us with the names and contact information for all of the attorneys who have utilized your services in the past two years.
- You prepare the text of the professional biography you would like others to see, knowing that you will be able to modify the text as often as you wish, whenever you wish.
- You provide us with the other basic information necessary to complete the enrollment.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT:
- We survey the attorneys, and compile the results.
- We provide you with the results.
